It’s one thing to know how to lose belly fat fast, and it’s another thing to take the necessary steps to finally lose that belly fat and have the figure you are looking for. While it may sound like a daunting challenge to stick to a program and lose the fat, it does not have to difficult, they key lies in staying committed and continuing to move forward.

1) The first thing you must commmit to is eating 5 to 6 smaller meals a day rather than the 2 or 3 large ones you are accustomed to having.

If you enjoy eating and snacking, then this should be an easy enough change for you. But you must exercise caution. Remember that the key here is to eat small meals, not large ones. If you ate 5 or 6 large meals a day, you would only find your energy decreasing and your waistline increasing!

You will eat the same amount of food, or even less, you will just spread it out over more meals. There is a common belief that to lose weight you should eat fewer meals every day. But this is not the case! When you wait to eat until one of those three meals, you are likely to overeat when you finally sit down with the food. Overeating like this at meals during the day will prevent you from losing any weight at all.

When you eat smaller meals throughout the day you will prevent overeating. This habit will also increase your metabolism as your body successfully burns off the foods you are eating.

It is also suggested that you eat your larger meals in the morning and as you move towards evening, make the meals progressively smaller.

2) There are fat burning food that can be added to your diet to help you eliminate the belly fat.

Foods with more proteins, fewer carbs and lower levels of saturated fats will help you to blast away the belly fat.

Here are some examples. Brown rice, oats, bran, whole grain/ whole wheat foods, vegetables, natural fruits, skim milk, chicken breast, lean meats, egg whites and seafood are all excellent examples of foods that can help you lose belly fat.

The foods that increase belly fat and should be avoided are, of course, the most delicious and tempting to our cravings. This list of foods includes pizzas, hamburgers, ice cream, french fries, deep-fried food, baked goods such as cakes and breads, chocolates, fatty meats, sugary snacks, potato chips and other junk food in general.

However, it’s important to remember that completely depriving yourself of these comfort foods will only lead to your body feeling like you are starving and then it will store more body fat, to prevent this you may want to “eat to your heart’s delight” no more than twice a week.

When you are enjoying this fully satisfying meal, you can have some of those mouth-watering comfort foods withoug feeling guilty. After all, losing the belly fat fast isn’t much fun if you’ve completely pulled all the joy out of your life.
