It is typical for a bodybuilder to eat 5 or 6 smaller meals daily, having consumed no less than 3,000 calories by the end of the day. Fresh fruits and vegetables are also a must, as well as beneficial complex carbohydrates such as those found in whole wheat pasta, brown rice, sweet potatoes, and oatmeal. You will ensure that your body has the fuel that it needs for your workouts if you include these foods in your diet.

Unfortunately, a number of bodybuilders actually take the muscle building too far, and this error results in their movement being restricted. When this happens, the bodybuilders lose their flexibility and they are unable to perform the simple task of raising their arms above their head, or tying their shoes. Watching these misguided men at the gym is quite pitiful.
